To carry out the above-mentioned means, the four Subtasks listed below are planned.

Subtask A: Review of the state-of-the-art on heat pump systems in buildings

Subtask B: Monitoring protocols and database of monitoring results for actual characteristics of heat pump systems in buildings

Subtask C: Estimation methods of energy efficiency and use of heat pump systems

Subtask D: Design guidelines for methods to maintain higher overall energy efficiency of heat pump systems in buildings
